A Hands-On Journey From Alumni to Property Managers

Dayton Student Housing, LLC began with a simple goal: to provide affordable, reliable housing to University of Dayton students. Our journey started in 2016 when we purchased our first rental property, a single-family home near UD. Recognizing a growing demand for off-campus housing, we expanded our offerings in 2017 by acquiring a triplex. Over time, we broadened our scope to include not only student housing but also short-term rentals for Airbnb guests and professionals working in nearby hospitals.

Our journey has been defined by a hands-on, local approach to property management. Both of us, being UD graduates, handle every aspect of the business ourselves, ensuring that each property is well-maintained and ready for new tenants. Unlike distant landlords or large agencies, we are always available to address the concerns of our tenants, whether they’re staying for a semester or just a few nights through Airbnb. This direct involvement has helped us build a strong reputation for reliability and affordability in the Dayton housing market.

What started as a small venture has grown into a thriving business, serving a wide range of tenants from students to professionals.
